Or* the present occasion, we do not propose reviewing the many admirable articles contained in the last number of the British and Foreign Medico-Chirurgical Hevieio, but would confine our remarks to the paper it contains on " Indian Medical Reports," in which we are earnestly enjoined to " resolutely persevere in the systematic tabulation and comparison of wellascertained facts, never seeking to build up until they have laid a sure and solid foundation." Tlie article in question is largely composed of admirable precepts of this description, and after so much lecturing on the subject, we should have expected the writer to set us an example of precise writing ; in place of which we find this article, like several of its predecessors
